Pigeon Revision

Pigeon



I hate their eyes
taking in the park.

They show up,
touch crumbs like Midas

rock colored wings
in the rock colored street

beneath lightning arc of starlings.

    Thanks, Graham! Pigeons are absolutely creepy. Too bad, really; it's not their fault. But oh! I hate their eyes.

    Like crows, they are a bit new to our neighborhood, only starting to show up in the last few years. Crows, however, I adore--doesn't everyone?
